I hope your week has been amazing so far! (And probably even more amazing now that it's almost technically the weekend). ;-)

I'm sure you all know by now that I absolutely LOVE styling outfits around one piece. Well today, that piece is this gorgeous Jord Watch! Let me tell you that I never seen a watch made of wood... let alone a women's watch. Wood is traditionally masculine by nature, so I was intrigued to see how they could juxtapose it in a more feminine way. When it arrived, I opened the box (a wooden box, mind you) to see what it looked like and out popped this gorgeousness! It's made of Koa wood, which is actually the same wood that my Martin guitar is made of (yay for matching!) and has the most beautiful rose gold face with Swarovski crystal markers. My love for rose gold runs deep and I was so happy to see it as an option, especially with the added sparkle. It's self-winding and you can actually see the gears moving. Such a cool watch!

To style it, I knew I wanted something ultra feminine (no surprise there) and fun for summer. As soon as I saw this little mint number hanging in my closet, I knew it would be a perfect match. The delicate lace trim from the dress plays with the watch very nicely and I added cognac block heels to mimic the wood grain. I added a fun polka dot purse and some Rocksbox sparkle to complete the look. This is definitely something I would wear for a picnic :-)

Overall, I am so happy with my Jord watch! The quality is amazing and it is just such beautiful, wearable art piece. They have SO many options for ladie's watches with wood colors ranging from light to dark and face colors such as rose gold, champagne, turquoise, lavender and rose' among others. The men's watches are super masculine and would be a perfect and unique gift. In fact, I may or may not have caught my husband eyeballing my watch a few times and say "that's really cool." He never says that so it's definitely husband approved! Haha!
