RocksBox Review

If you visit often, then you've probably heard me mention RocksBox a few times (or maybe you're just sick of me talking about it haha!). Anyhoo, I've gotten a lot of questions regarding RocksBox so I thought I'd share my experience with you!

 

But first....what is RocksBox you say? It's a curating service for designer jewelry (much like StitchFix is for clothing or Ipsy for makeup). For $19 a month, you have unlimited access to the most amazing jewels! You'll start out by taking a quiz to give your stylist an idea of what you like. You can also make a wishlist of pieces you love. After that, your first box will be on it's way! In each box, you will get three pieces (necklace, bracelet, earrings or ring) that are specially curated from your stylist. Of course, shipping is free both ways and you can keep the pieces as long as you like...2 days or 2 weeks, then send them back for another box. If you fall in love with a piece, you can buy it for a discount PLUS you have $10 each month to spend.

The stylist picked this one out for me. I loved the daintiness of it and the fact that it goes great with a lot of my necklaces.

 

The verdict? Sent back originally. However, I couldn't stop thinking about it so I requested to have it back. The REAL verdict? KEPT! <3

Another stylist pick. I really wanted to love this, but it was just entirely too big for my tiny hand. Aside from that, it was SO SO beautiful.

#1: Kendra Scott - Rayne Necklace

 

Another item from my wishlist. I've been searching for a great pendant necklace and I am SO  happy that I received this one because it definitely fits the bill. Insanely gorgeous and goes with everything.

 

The verdict? Kept!

 



 

#2: House of Harlow - Outland Pave Bangle

 

Another wishlist piece. Sparkly, beautiful and well made! Really loved this one, but decided that I would prefer the crystals to be clear instead of black.

 

#3: Wanderlust + Co - Crystal & Bar Stack Rings

Another stylist pick. This is actually a set of two rings so I LOVED that I was able to mix and match them in different ways. However, I wasn't in love with them.

 

The verdict? Sent back!

 



 

My Overall Experience

 

Customer Service

 

The RockBox girls have been SO kind and helpful. My customer service experience so far has been above par! I have never been pressured to purchase anything or to renew my membership. They also made it very easy to get back the bangle that I had previously fell in love with.

 

 

My Stylist

 

I feel like she really knows my style. She listens to my feedback and includes at least one of my wishlist item in each of my boxes. I always pleasantly surprised with the items she picks out for me because I usually end up loving them more than my wishlist pieces!

 

 

The Jewelry

 

All of the jewelry has been well made and gorgeous! They have TONS of different pieces to fit anyone's personal style. There are so many unique pieces that I feel I would have never found and I love all the designers they have!

 

The Concept

 

I love this concept! Jewelry is one my favorite things so I love being able to try out different brands and different pieces. I also love that I can switch my jewels as often as I want, giving my outfits a little bit of extra sparkle.

 

However, do not think that you have to purchase anything because you absolutely do not have to! You just have the option, if you fall in love (like I did...four times haha), to purchase it at a discount along with any Shine Spend. There is NO pressure AT ALL.

 

Shipping

 

Lightning fast! I usually get mine within 2-3 of sending back my previous box. Also, shipping is free BOTH ways so you don't have to worry about that.

 

My Experience

 

I had never used any type of curating service before so I didn't know quite what to expect. Honestly, I thought I'd just try it out for a bit and then cancel, but that was not the case at all! I notice myself wearing my RocksBox pieces more throughout the week than my others and I never fail to get a slew of compliments when I wear them. Overall, I have had an AMAZING experience with RocksBox and I find myself wanting to share it with everyone....on the blog, on Instagram, on Facebook....at work, at the grocery store, at the gym....to my mom, to my sister, to my husband, to anyone that passes by...haha! No, seriously. I'm obsessed. And I plan to keep my membership so be on the look out for more of my amazing jewels.
