How to Style a Hat
See Full Outfit Post Here
Good morning beauties!
I'm back from the Grand Canyon! Woo! It was SO hot...but SO amazing! Oh man, if you have never been, you would not believe how big this giant hole in the ground is. It literally goes on forever.
So anyway, I wrote a tutorial a couple of weeks ago about how to resize a hat that my be too big (read the post here). I ended up resizing all of my hats using this simple technique and wow...I did not realize how many I had. Let's just say that my hat collection may be catching up with my tulle skirt collection in the future... haha!
As I was doing this, I thought it might be fun to revisit some of my favorite "hat looks."
Enjoy! <3

I don't know about you but I LOVE hats! I think they are both functional and fashionable and add so much to an outfit.
But there is one problem...
They are always TOO BIG!
I love the excitement of getting a new hat, only to be met by the disappointment of trying it on. For YEARS, I wore hats that were way too big for me...or just didn't wear them at all. I even contemplated getting rid of them because they didn't fit. After discovering this little secret, I resized all of my hats and can now wear all of them without any problems!
*Please note that this hat in particular is actually resizable without the use of this tutorial. The hat used in this tutorial has a ribbon in the back that can be tied together to tighten the sweatband for a custom fit. Genius! This hat was only used for this tutorial to show you how you can customize the fit of a hat if this ribbon is not present. Enjoy!

Ultimate Guide to Yosemite
*Please note: All photos were taken by me (and are un-edited....say whaaa?!)*
Happy Monday everyone!
Many of you know that we kicked off our "Summer Vacation Extravaganza" a few weeks ago when we traveled to Yosemite. Since then, I have received an insane amount of requests asking for suggestions for upcoming trips and general information for future traveling so I thought I would share all of this info in a post! Sorry, no outfit photos today :-( haha! Come back Wednesday for that! :-D
I have been traveling to Yosemite once or twice a year for the past few years being as it's my husband's absolute favorite place in the world! He would probably live there if they'd let him. Yosemite is famous for it's glacially carved granite mountains and breathtaking waterfalls among other things and we are extremely lucky to live only 3 1/2 hours away, so we can easily access it anytime of the year. This is such a dreamy and magical place that it's no surprise that visitors fly in from all over the world making it the one the most famous and heavily visited national parks in the United States.
In this post, I will share the ins and outs of Yosemite Valley including where to stay, what to do and where to go.
