I hope your weekend has been amazing! Mine has been interesting....
Between the hateful political commentary on my Facebook and finding out by surprise that California no longer issues plastic bags for groceries, it has been quite an eventful experience. Thankfully I had some bags saved up for yesterday's grocery outing, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for some cute reusable ones :-) And as for Facebook....well, I won't get into that. Since I'm not one to voice my opinion, cause drama and impose my very neutral political beliefs onto others, I've just been sitting back watching this whole jaw-dropping charade unfold. It's so heartbreaking to watch... thank goodness for the unfollow button.

I happened to have some free time this weekend, which rarely happens, so I decided to catch up on my reading. I just got Capture Your Style so, of course, I've been dyinggg to read it. Instagram is my absolute favorite social media and through trial and error, I have learned the ins and outs of how to grow one's account (will be sharing my tips in the future!). I am so fascinated with how others achieve success in this as well, so I was super excited to read her book and see what else I could learn. Needless to say, I finished it in one day and am now re-reading Girl Boss, one of my absolute favorites! If you are in need of some inspiring reading material, I highly recommend these two books (especially if you are a blogger or business owner).
So I stumbled upon this dress during my latest Target shopping excursion. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that goes in for toothpaste and comes out with a dress haha!
