I hope you had an incredible weekend (and amazing Father's Day!). My husband and I decided to have two photo shoots this weekend, one of which we drove back out to the desert for (since you all loved the last desert photos!). I live in California and it gets blazing hot during the summer. At the time we took these photos, it was nearly 115 degrees! Yikes! And no worries... we didn't run into any rattlesnakes this time haha :-)

Birthday Girl: Thirty, Flirty and Thriving!



Happy Friday, lovelies!

It's currently 11pm on Thursday as I write this from Lake Tahoe. We arrived not too long ago and had a crazy time getting up here! There ended up being a serious mudslide blocking the only freeway to get to where we need to be. After various attempts of finding another way, we ended up having to go back quite a ways to find an alternate route, adding three hours to our already lengthy trip. Along the way, we ended up seeing some of the most beautiful lakes, historic ghost towns and gorgeous snow covered mountains (the snow was up to15 feet high!). Even though our trip ended up being eleven hours long, it was worth it for the beautiful drive. Plus, we were welcomed by the most adorable pinterest-worthy cabin. Why is it snowing in June, you ask? A random storm made it's way up here bringing the 70 degree weather down to the 40s. Needless to say, I won't be lying out on the beach, but I've never been up here when it's been snowy so I am very excited to explore! Definitely follow along on my Instagram stories if you aren't already ;-)

 

Anyway, tomorrow is my birthday (Saturday) and my 20s come to an end *tear!* In this very special post, I am opening up and celebrating by sharing the 30 things that I have learned in the past 30 years with you!
