About

Well, hello darling!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I share my passion for fashion!

I'm Lizzie, a Kate Spade obsessed, flower crown wearing, dress twirling kind of girl and your new BFF. I believe in wearing tulle skirts for any occasion, eating cupcakes for breakfast, and sporting sequins during the day. I also own an embarrassing amount of dresses and statement necklaces and have an affinity for all things pretty and Parisian.

I would describe my style as romantic and feminine with a touch of boho. I love "pretty things", whimsical elements and looks that are put together, yet fun. I gravitate towards ultra feminine fabrics and silhouettes in bright or pastel colors. My wardrobe is full of tulle, ruffles, chiffon, bows, sequins, floral prints and lace. I enjoy mixing patterns and textures for an interesting outfit!

Aside from blogging, I'm a Jill of all trades. I'm a substitute teacher by day and private guitar instructor by night. I am also an artist of many mediums, adrenaline junkie, follower of Christ and wife to an amazing husband.

Although, I have many, many interests and hobbies, but my true passion is for design. Design is a driving force in my everyday life from the clothes I wear or make and the way I decorate my living space to the creation of edible sweets and the writing of new music. I am always thinking in a creative way and I love to share that part of myself with others.

In February 2015, Lizzie in Lace was created as an outlet to share my everyday outfits, styling knowledge and serious love of fashion. From outfit inspiration and reviews to styling tips and DIY's, I have you covered.

  7. As much as I love the demo on DIY awesome ring shots, my favorite part of this post by FAR is your explanation of your CZ stone! that is such a beautiful story, and makes me respect you even more than I already did! Damn, grrl, you're awesome. Also, looking through those gorgeous green stones, the Gaspeite pretty much jumped off the page at me screaming your name. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Stud Earrings
