Well, another week begins. They seem to come and go like crazy! May has started, which brings about a lot of things. For one, next week is our two year wedding anniversary. <3 Eeeek! I still remember every detail of that beautiful day. Secondly, school is out at the end of the month plus my little brother is graduating from junior high and moving on to high school. I still remember him being a baby...changing his diapers, feeding him, playing with him...seriously, where does the time go? Sigh. Such a bitter sweet moment, but at the same time I am SO ready for school to be out.

You've probably noticed that I love all things soft and pretty and my way of dressing very much influenced by that notion. I am floral print maniac! I swear half of my closet consists of floral prints (and cream colored frocks). Ha! When I first saw this skirt online, I thought it was really cute. When I saw it real life, I was amazing at just how gorgeous it was! The lining has a beautiful watercolor effect portraying flower petals and the overlay is a nice knife-pleated tulle. I adore the tulle over the floral print! So pretty, yet fun! Man, I do love my tulle....I should have named by blog, Lizzie in Tulle, but it doesn't quite have the same effect :-) Anyway, I paired this pretty skirt with an equally gorgeous cream top. The top has a mesh overlay filled with zillions of 3-D flowers. It makes the artist in me very happy. I wanted the color pretty neutral for this out, so that the textures would be more noticeable. A nude heeled sandal and colorblock bag along with gold accessories pulled the outfit together nicely.

Also, I am co-hosting a link-up over at Rhea Etc. today! Feel free to check it out and make some new friends :-)
