There is something so beautiful about a neutral color palette. It gives off a sort of softness, a feminine like quality. I am very much into mixing different textures to create something unique and beautiful. When using neutrals together, I feel that texture is needed to set them apart.

Even though the holidays are over, my sequined pieces are here to stay. I like to come up with fun ways to use them throughout the year instead of stashing them away to pull out once a year. This sweater is definitely one of my favorites! Not only is completely covered with sequins, but there is a gorgeous bow in the back. (picture fail ha!) I paired it with a beautiful lace midi skirt that I got from Piperlime (on clearance!). The pattern is just stunning and it goes with nearly everything in my closet, which is always a good thing. I added nude heels, a small statement necklace and delicate arm  jewelry to finish it off.

This is such a great transitional look, whether it be for spring or fall. More importantly, it makes me feel pretty and very much like myself. It's always a good thing to be comfortable in your clothing, no matter what you wear. You should wear things that make you happy and this definitely gets the job done.
