I am back from vacation and I missed you all SOOOOO much! I hope you all enjoyed the guest posts and found some new friends and new blogs to read! I'm so happy to be back on the blog and have a great review for you today.
I'm going to share my Smile Brilliant experience with you!
How To Use
Before Smile Brilliant, custom trays were only available at the dentist's office for $500+. Because this method is less typical and more personalized than the strips you'd pick up at the drugstore, I've included step by step directions to get you through the process
1.) Your kit has arrived! Yay!

2.) Time to get down to business (and make some molds for your teeth). Take out one compartment of each the Catalyst Paste (white) and the Base Paste (blue).
3.) Take them out of the compartments and get ready to mix!
4.) Gently knead both pastes together for....
5.) The finished product.
6.) Take your mixed paste and gently roll it out a bit until it fits neatly in the tray.
7.) Place the tray in your mouth for either bottom or top row of teeth and and gently push it up into your teeth. Hold for ....then let it sit.
*Repeat steps 2 through 7 for the other row of teeth. Now fill out your form, place the trays in the package provided and ship it off to the lab!
Within a week, you will receive a package with your molds. Read the instructions provided and start whitening!

My experience:
Comfort
The trays are SO comfortable! I forgot they were in there half the time. I've used other whitening methods including strips and another tray form with a light. The strips always slipped around on my teeth and the other tray was super bulky and uncomfortable. Since this mold was made to fit my teeth exactly and it's super thin, it's very comfortable and easy to use. Just put in the gel and insert your trays and you're good to go!
Sensitivity
I have very sensitive teeth so I was delighted to know that they had desensitizing gel available. For the first few uses, I just used the regular whitening gel and did not experience any sensitivity at all. After that, however, I did experience sensitivity and used the desensitizing gel. It worked like a charm!
Duration
I used the whitening trays everyday for two and a half weeks. I started out slowly with a 15 minute application, then 30 minutes and then 45 minutes.

Husband's Results
My husband joined me on this journey. He has not used any whitening products before with the exception of tooth paste. He was a bit skeptical at first, but is now a believer after seeing the results! How I even got him to try this with me is a miracle lol!
Comfort
He said that the trays were very comfortable and that they fit his teeth well! I remember him specifically being afraid that it would be bulky and uncomfortable haha!
Sensitivity
My husband also has sensitive teeth. He experienced the sensitivity before I did, but said that the desensitizing gel helped a lot.
Duration
He used the whitening trays everyday for two and a half weeks. He only wore them for 15-25 minutes each day.

I am blown away by my husband's results! During the process, it's hard to tell because you can't remember how they looked before so I am glad that we took before and after shots. Looking at them in person now, I can definitely see the difference and he can too. During this experiment, we did not use any other whitening products (toothpaste, mouthwash, etc.) so that we could really gauge how well the product worked.
Overall, I am VERY impressed with Smile Brilliant! Out of all the whitening products I have ever used, this has been the most comfortable and the most effective! I am so excited for my husband and notice that he has been smiling a lot more :-) Yay! I could not recommend this product enough! In the future, I will definitely be using Smile Brilliant again.
